Joonas Keronen is a Helsinki-based songwriter, who goes out of his way to find imaginative rhymes, just the right flow and out-of-the-box concepts to make the song feel as much as possible. Joonas has worked with Finnish artists such as ABREU, Pikku G, Roope Salminen & Koirat, Ilta, Benjamin and YOUNGHEARTED, only to name a few. In 2021 a brand new Capitol Records signing, VIIVI, made a huge breakthrough in Finland after releasing just four songs - all of which were co-written by Joonas. Two of the songs have already streamed platinum, one gold, and the latest single “Hyväuskoinen” reached #1 on the Finnish Spotify chart. This year Joonas was nominated for the “Breakthrough of the Year” award by MPA Finland (Suomen Musiikkikustantajat ry).
